SCULPTURE

PORTFOLIO
"An intense fascination with the mystery of forms is manifested in the sculptural work of Ivette Ceja, whose incessant interrogation of matter leads to a tenacious formal inquiry as a sensitive presence of a repertoire of geometric volumes and undulating tapes that are expounded in the abstraction, but sometimes, do not renounce the anthropomorphic wink approaching a frank figuration. In the transmutation operated by Ceja, the metal forgets its solidity and habitual rigidity in favor of a flexibility and even an improbable lightness ... "
